THE WEDDING DAY

Well the day has come and gone, it was the most emotional day ive had in a very long time, it was like a roller coaster, everything was fine getting hair and make up done and then photos, then we got in the hummer and still doing good just getting a little nervous, the bride was a little stressed but was holding it together pretty well, then we get to the doors and the 1st bridesmaid walks down, by the end of the isle she is crying, then my turn and im the same so we are both at the alter crying our eyes out, the maid of honor held herself pretty well i must say, then the bride and her dad come in and he was crying the whole way up the isle, and through the whole ceremony the 3 of us cried, but they were happy tears. Then time for photos, that was lots of fun, no tears from anyone, cant wait til they come back.
the reception was gorgeous, great food and looked amazing ( more tears, from the bride now). we had time to rest there in our own bridal party room for a bit before we had to enter so that was nice, had lots of champagne by this stage, opened the 1st bottle at about 9 am, its now 6.30 pm, the speeches were all really good, a bit of everything, laughter and yes more tears, the band was great, played really good well known music that you could dance to, everyone had a really good time so thats all that really matters. I ripped my bridesmaid dress all up the back...ooops, but i put my partners jacket on and no one even knew...lol, then it came time for the bride and groom to say good bye, and that is where i lost it, i cried and cried, and i still cry when i think about saying good bye to my best friend, but the stupid thing is, she isnt going anywhere, nothing has changed...except she is a wife, and as happy as i am it feels strange to say that, ive known her for 13 yrs, she is my best friend and we have been through soooo much together, and i know that wont change, but its the end of an era, we are starting new fazes in our lives now and i cant wait to celebrate all of that with them, it was an honor to be one of her bridesmaids
