just an update

of some cards ive made, and this is the class i done with ros madley at chandon craft, it was a great lo to do as a class, lots of little techniques, like acetate stamping, inking, layering, classes are great for people that have an idea of what to do but a little unsure of trying it out, anyway hope you like them

i must say this week hasnt been the greatest of weeks, but without going into to much detail things have changed and at first it threw me but now i think the change is great, one of the things that happened this week was my baby started kindergarten, i was very emotional about this as he is an only child, so its a reality check that he is growing fast and just to rub in how much he has grown one of the mothers come along with their new born baby, i left the kinder in tears and cried all the way home, he went again today and all was fine...no crying today. so i just thought i would share the photo of him in his kinder hat, looking very proud of himself

i'm back

from our week away in Warrnambool, we had so much fun but didnt really do a whole lot, we went for a river cruise, mini golf, the beach, and the park lots, and they had a night market on the friday night, so we walked over there and had dinner which is where my son ate 2 corn on the cobs and that is a miracle...he doesnt eat anything really so i had to photograph it because if i told people they wouldnt believe me, they also have a carnival of a night time so we went to check that out to. Our tent site was a 5 minute walk from the beach, i loved waking up and hearing it in the morning when the caravan park was silent, it sounded like we were sleeping right on the beach, i took lots of photos and im really itching to scrap them now, its so nice to get away for a bit, but i missed my bed and shower, we didnt take a tv or stereo, there were people there with big plasma tv's dvd players.....etc, its not really camping if you take the house with you, and we had these 2 little boys next door, they were about 6 and 9, they sat inside pretty much the whole time playing games and watching tv, i dont see why you would go to such a gorgeous place with great weather and let your kids sit inside ALL day ???, my son would open his eyes in the morning and ask for shoes....lol, i couldnt keep him in if i tried, i cant wait to go back again next year.
